To David And which of the various Biblical definitions of the Land of Israel do you subscribe to? Do we eventually go for Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq? I take it also that you feel it is justified and divinely sanctioned to exterminate those living on the land that you consider the equivalent of the Edomites. Are we to drive them out or kill them so our sons do not marry their women and our daughters take their men as husbands? Once the Jews have taken possession of all the Land of Israel through war and destruction of other peoples, do we then set up a country based only on Torah law? Do we go back to the time of Joshua? Thank God we have Yossi Sarid. Unfortunatly, his moral voice is crying in a wilderness of xenophobia and triumphalism. It surely will be overpowered by the voice of the kippaed mobs bent on carrying out God's will.
