Where do you take the crap that "Jerusalem has always been essentiallly a Jewish city, a city of kings and prophets..." Your "always" reeks of ignorance. Jerusalem was the city of Jewish kings and prophets for some 700 years in the distant past; it was an Arab city with a Jewish minority for 1600 years, and even that minority was tolerated only because of Muslim generosity. Umar al Khayam, when he conquered the city in 643, allowed Jews who were exiled from it for 400 years to return and live there in peace. These are historical facts and not political rhetorics. Although it is sacred to three religions, it is a city like any other and its destiny is up for negotiations.
