Did the right wing govt. stop the Hezbillah rockets on the last day of battle? Those rockets will reign down as long as you give them an excuse to. Did Netanyahu make any permanent contributions to Israel's situation? Did Golda Meir do anything permanent? Did Sharon make anything better with unilateralism? And actually, did Barak make anything better unilaterally? Hawkish, right wing views and actions might save Israel a headache for a year 2,3, even 10 years, but the truth is the pain will come back as a migrane and then a disease, as long as there is occupation, as long as there is oppression and suppression there will no peace for Israel, no matter who's in power. You cannot make people live with degradation and oppression. Until there is a leader in Israel with that vision there is no hope and no partner. Make what you will with that. But thats the end of the line for me, the bottom line of my arguement. Shalom Aleichem/Salam Aleikum
