To Bill from U.K. (not a U.S. state, if you say so), The missiles from Russia sold to Syria can and probably will fall into the hands of terrorists. Most definitely they will reach Hezbollah, which has 1000's of rockets deployed against Israel. Furthermore, Syria has deployed sophisticated Russian-made SAM's in Lebanon's Bekaa valley. These rockets can also fall into the hands of Palestinian terrorists and be used against Israeli civilian planes. The last time the Israeli air force made overflights in Syrian air space was when a large suicide bombing in an Israel was directed from the Islamic Jihad headquarters in Syria. Maybe you should not be giving advice to Israel about its neighborhood policies, while the British are fully occupying Iraq. It's interesting how the British government launched fierce diatribes about Baathism in Iraq, but they seem to have only nice things to say about the ruling Baath party in Syria.
