Jossi Beilin, once an admired personality among Palestinians, says now NO return to the 1967 borders and NO to the "right of return" for the Palestinian refugees. I wonder if this is really what he thinks now , or he is tactically motivated due to the upcoming elections in Israel. In fact, he admits now that Israel will never achieve peace in the years to come. If he was a courageous person and if he remained the old yossi Beilin, he should have called for end of the occupation and a return to the pre 1967 borders and to the full right of return for whoever want to do so among the refugees. Besides, calling for a "natinal home of the Jewish people with Jerusalem as its capital" is giving in to the rightests in Israel and also neglecting a main demand of the Paestinians and Arabs that East Jerusalem is a part of occupied territories and consequently has to be a part of a future Palestinian state.
