Neither they were some pan jewists or anything. These people were hardcore Marxist fundamentalists. It's a kinda difficult to insist that Jews should collectively atone for the sins committed by people who were militantly atheist and anti nationalist, who were rejecting jewish traditions and religion, who denied the very jewish national identity because the only identity they recognized was social class.
