"In Lebanon, Israeli soldiers are dying, not because of their generals` incompetence, or in defense of their country, but to keep Israeli for ever the Syrian Golan." Completely agree with your analysis. IDF and IAF is strong and unmatched conventional fighting machine. Frankly speaking, stopping Katusta is beyond any ones capacity. Look at Hamas firing pretty rudimentary Qassam projectiles in the south for over a year now and IDF and IAF combined could not stop them even with tens of ground incursion in to Gaza and virtually cutting it off from the rest of world could not put a stop on the barrage of Qassam. Let's face it, stopping or reducing this threat without negotiation is far from any reality. Israeli Leaders have failed in this so they want arm forces to do their dirty job and be a SCAPEGOAT for their incompetence?s.
