If I went along with Your line of machiavellian reasoning for now, I`d ask You : -why not deport all palestinians who came in to Lebanon in 1970-71 & their descendents over the border in to Syria ? Then ALL lebanese would be happy and their demographical balance would be somewhat restored ! (I`m not counting the syrian dictatorship regime`s happiness here) -OH NO, I almost forgot that You value the PAL`s aspirations for TWO nation-states well OVER the lebanese right to keep their OWN state. -Why is the creation of an independent Lebanon more "artificial" & less worthy of existence than the palestinian people & it`s movement, artificially created by british colonialists & Nasser`s dictatorship regime in Egypt in 1922-64 ?? Why are middle-east`s muslim "palestinians" enjoined with better rights to independent nation-states than the christian arabs, the druze, in Your opinion ??? (Not to mention kurdish state rights here, hmm...)
