    why do Jewish young people fear young Palestinians? in part because of the separation between the two groups of citizens of Israel. In part becuase of policies that defy Israel's Declaration of INdependence. Becuase of the majority / minority issues, it is more incumbent upon the majority Jews to reach out and deal with this - otherwise, the coming decades will be much harder for Israeli Jews than we can imagine. and lest you think otherwise, I firmly believe in the right of the Jewish poeple for self determination, ie a state. but we had better realize that this comes with obligations to all citizens in that state.
