The West Bank and Gaza were not `free` or Palestinian prior to 1967. What the Palestinian areas now have envolved into is, chaos and despair, is at the minimum, as much the fault of the Arab terrorists as it is the Israeli "occupiers". There is alot of blame to go around. (And, I am being overly kind with that analogy). The arguments made by the Palestinians and their supporters that Israel is always at fault or as Colin wrote "(Israel will) prevent such an outcome (of peace)" are immature. It's like an argument in a junior high school. Share the blame Palestinians and P supporters, do not blame throw every single time. There are such unrealistic expectations on the Arab side combined with a childlike ethnocentric victim's mentality. It assures a lack of success. How do any of you expect progress when you can not even share a portion of the blame? I pray for a Palestine within negiotiated borders. Then they will have no one else to blame for their failures.
