Suspension for 'unbecoming behavior' would require the support of 90 MKs and would be for a period set by the Knesset House Committee.19:21 08.02.16 | 0 comments
'just like the Dutch troops in Serebnica were unwilling to risk their lives' I have to stand up for them. They where at the time not allowed to interfear by shooting (UN troops, you know ?). At the same time when the mass-murder started they where trapped like rats in the area and asked several and several times for airsupport by NATO, wich was repeatedly refused by NATO. The troops themselves wanted desperatly to change the situation but becouse of International Organisations (NATO, UN) making a mess of the situation they stood on their own with to little of equipment to make a difference. This Srebrenica-drama is the perfect example for NATO and UN how NOT to operate in warsituations where civilians are involved. I am affraid Mr. Kofi Annan (UN) and Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer (NATO)aren't reading these posts.
