In my view, there aren't two sides -- not any more. Were there 'two sides' to the question of that certain power that existed from 1933 to 1945 that gets referred to so often in this connection? At what point did there cease to be 'two sides'? I'd say it's 1938 and we've just had our Kristallnacht. Not much question of the moral nature of what we're looking at. There may well be patriotic Germans, and they may feel strongly about the issues too -- but I feel no need to sympathize.
