...show their cards. Do they really hope that this kind of unity-deal gradually will change Hamas? Or will it be the other way around - the ideas of Hamas (and therefore also Iran) will gain ground and eventually dominate the PA? And this will be conducive to the peacework? And is it good that Fayyad will be kicked out, and that he will be replaced with someone from Hamas? Is it really wise to embrace Hamas without first demanding that they end terror etc? The current development is a gift to Netanyahu and the government in Jerusalem. The international commmunity is about to receive a brutal wake-up call to reality - for years many europeans have argued that Hamas should be accepted and inserted into the diplomatic process. Now they are getting it, and they will get a big mess. Todays ceremony and announcement will enable Netanyahu to navigate and survice the september-challenges. Well, I stop here. I´ll be back.
