Though Jerusalem rarely voices its opinion on the raging Syrian war, Israel secretly prefers war of attrition between the Assad's regime and its enemies.18:23 08.02.16 | 0 comments
"If not now, when?" Bush has a terrible record in the Middle East. Before 9-11 he neglected it; after 9-11 he destabilized it in a very profound way, eliminating Saddam the bulwark against Iran, letting Iran rise to prominence, and endangering all countries in the Iraq neighborhood. The original Bush's Roadmap to peace proved useless. Now comes the latest, and probably last, Bush peace initiative which might advance peace prospects somewhat. If Bush lets Olmert retreat and undermine it for his lack of courage, Bush will deserve the record he has. Bush should tell Olmert: Look, I risked much more than you did. I may have ruined my historic legacy. I will not put up with your cowardice. Either lead, follow, or get out of the way.
