Mr. Strenger is right in his analysis. The only thought I would add on Americans and our idolatry is this: We want the media to put our heroes on a pedestal so high they can lick the clouds while we wait for someone to come along and kick out the legs. The more fiery the flameout, the better. Having said that, it seems we have taken our frustrations out on Mr. Woods. People are hurting, so instead of kicking the dog, we kick the Tiger. One last thought: Despite the shocking number of indiscretions, this is really nobody's business but Mrs. Woods'.
