I was thinking the other day, the Jewish State of Israel really represents the initial modern country in the world that had to deal with multicultural facets unlike any other - and this came with great trials and tribulations. On top of all that, the territorial conflict with the Palestinians added to the difficulties of sustaining the security for the population and an equitabl, inclusive society as well. Many politicians have admitted to mistakes and missed opportunities, but this does not mean that only on Israel's 63rd birthday that the party is over! What did the other democracies around the world undergo throughout their evolutionary process?
