Threat of one state, isn't that what the occupation was meant to acchieve? To force the Palestinians into giving up hope for their own state! Ben Gurion supported the proposal to partition Palestine into a Jewish and an Arab state while at the same time, he delivered speeches which made it clear that he did not accept partition as a final solution. One state is the only way for Israel to annex the OT in a legal way with Jerusalem the capital. Once the Palestinians have given up their hope, there is no way back and with jewish laws, no building permits, work, or health care for them, Israel will get rid of them one way or another! With calling for one state the Palestinians themselves make Ben Gurions visions come true!
