Though anagnostic I do take side with the good Rabbi: if it were to make sure the continuum of the Jewish people. I use to follow Rosner's reporting, written in a balanced and clear style. Unfortunately, no more. He seems to find that provocation for the sake of such, and competing with "illuminaries" G. Levy, A. Haas, his style becaomes stale: I find no interest in what he has to say. Yes, like any other minority grou (just ask the Greeks or the Italians) there must be identification, not necessarily religious but cultural, with your own group: identity that comes out of it makes you less angst, and more productive to your large society. That as a matter of fact my motto, you cannot deny your appartenance to your TRIBE, in my case Moroccan, just to please the prejudiced ignorants. Rabbi Greer as a "Psychologist" goes is very right, and I dislike the untertone of Rosner.... and intolerants
