There is a definite sense of inevitability surrounding Israel's destined fate. Jews chose the Zionism of Jabotinsky over the Zionism of Buber, Magnes and Ha'am. The last 60 years Zionists shaped their future around the Iron Wall theory - and turned that into a reality in more ways than one. It's a fiat-accompli! Israel today is a state based on the extreme side of Zionism. Extremism in the pursuit of liberty and equality is no vice but when it involves the pursuit of oppression and exclusivity, something becomes terribly rotten in Denmark or in this case Tel-Aviv. Ahmadinejad is absolutely correct in his assessment of Israel. The record is clear for all to see. If only the 300 plus miles of walls and endless checkpoints could speak - what would they say about the "only democracy in the Middle East"?
