It sounds like it was made in, or translated into, less than perfect English. In view of the fact that the date, too, is incorrect, might he not have been saying that in the framework of its violations of other nations' airspace on the pretext of destroying nuclear facilities it had also attacked Syria? Press releases are usually rush jobs by overworked translation departments. Why are we grasping at straws?
