What is an "operational experiment" anybody? The people of Israel were told -and it was informed at Haaretz- that Iron Dome is fully operational, that at least one battery was ready, sitting and waiting to be deployed. Perhaps two. That's by far not enough to cover the southern part of Israel, but it is something al least. Then something fishy happened, that indicates it may not really work well, despite the "successful tests" and the fully, totally, absolutely "operational" phase informed. The whole gestalt of Israel being 5 years after the trauma to the home front during the Second Lebanon war, and yet with one sole operational battery, and people in the Defense establishment having cold feet, and saying this is an experiment, amounts to a criminal negligence as well as an insult to intelligence.
