This is a disgrace and certainly not the way to resolve the land issues between the state and the Bedouins who are continuing to contest the state's claims to their land in court. I also deplore the arrogance of the 1500 troops brought to the village as if they were going to war. Do we really need more to understand the growth of extreme Islamization of the Bedouin community after such an act? Such violence sets back all the coexistence work being done. It lays the foundations for hatred and frustration with this "democratic" state.
