The world is tured of waining on Israel to freeze all settlement activity and negotiate in good faith with the Palestinians. Hopefully, Russia, China and other nations will follow suit, They have let the US single-handedly controvert humanity, international law and justice for far too long. Moreover, Barak has had his fill of Netanyahu's lies, false promises, threats and demands. If the Palestinians declare a state, it is by no means certain that the US would veto UN membership, especially, if the nations of the EU recognize Palestine. Any efforts at annexation by Israel would almost certainly elicit a broad-based boycott, especially if accompanied by violence. Wake up Israel. Get your head out of the sand. The end of of the occupuation and settlements is near, whether you cooperate or not. Most Israelis are not willing to pay too great a price to keep what all the world regards as stolen land. Change now, while you can save face.
