Whether one is outwardly Jewish or Jewish in their heart has no bearing on what true Judaism is. Real Judaism is simply the following of the 613 mitzvahs and the mishnahs that explain them, given to us at Mt Sinai. It's as simple as that. The fact that the majority of Jews want to change them, and the extreme want to add to them is fine and dandy as long as no one loses sight of the clear and simple fact as mentioned above.
