While a dysfunctional government, and a host of other issues, are obviously more important than a Rolling Stones concert, this is not trivial either. There are evil forces in the world seeking to isolate and delegitimize Israel, and ultimately cut Israel off from the outside support it needs. Like him or not, the Stones are a rock-and-roll icon, and getting them to play Israel will be a victory of sorts over those who are attempting to organize boycotts.
