though of course it is obvious, since the so-called war on terror has increased the power of the freedom fighters in the ME, and confusing fundamentalist groups with the people who want autonomy in their own territories is counter-productive. There have been at least as many terrorist attacks since the "war on terror" started than there were before, and thousands more casualties. Isn't it time something different was tried?
