"We shall not allow high ranking officials of a terror organization to hide behind their ranks, whatever they may be," the court said in its ruling. Some justice this Military Court represents. While It detains 18 legitimate members of the Palestinian government it allows the offenders in its own ranks to hide behind behind their rankS. Of the over 4,000 Palestinians who were murdered by Israeli army during the last 5 years --1,800 of them were civilians with no ties to terror. I might add over 1/3 of these victims were mere children on their way to or from school or chasing a ball. Human Rights Watch noted last year in their report how many Israeli soldiers are literally getting away with murder as the Israeli Military Court has only processed about 5% of all the serious human rights cases against the army during the last five years. And the real farce about this military Court is it relies on the sole testimony of Israeli soldiers on deciding whether to open a case of serious Human Righjt abuse. Forget about eye witness account and other appropriate evidence. This Israeli Military Court refuses to acknowledge such evidence as relevant to the case. Some justice this Military Court represents.
