    People, please, don't be so that naive :) This incident, the insult with consequent apology, these two events were most probably planned. Do you people think that Ayalon did not expect that he would have to apologize ? Of course he knew he would have to apologize. But the purpose of the whole thing was to deliver a point to Turkish, the point being that Israel is not afraid of Turkey, and that if needed, Israel can be quite nasty. It just could be that Turkey got the message. That is all. Apology is a formality, the important thing that Israel showed that it isn't ready suck up to Turkish insults any longer.
