The reality that most liberals avoid is exactly what needs to be addressed. Until now both Western nations and Israel have just fought wars against Islamists without addressing the very reason those wars are forced upon us. Islam is the problem, and its core ideas call for the control of the world of the non-Muslims. Since we are not challenging these ideas, Islamists will continue to believe that they have a mission from god to take over all non-Muslim states. There wont be any peace ever until the ideology of Islam is challenged by the media, by the politicians and by every thinking person. We are doing ourselves a great disservice by not using the power of the pen to undue this ideology. We will only find ourselves in a deeper quagmire and we continue to discover that by making 'peace' with Islam only submits and subjugates us to its very power.
