As it says at the end of the report "The IDF Spokesman said that during the past few weeks, representatives of the Civil Administration approached area residents and officials of the Palestinian Authority and asked them to stop the violent and dangerous behavior; when there was no response, the obstacles were placed. " They were warned many times, and it is unacceptable that travellers are in danger of being stoned etc. This happens in many other parts of the country and is not always reported in the Press. Besides, in the Arab community children and adults are kept under all kinds of cultural controls, so they must take responsibility and teach that stoning passing traffic is wrong.
