Israel's occupation must be denounced and condemned in the UN by the Security Council. It is drafted using the words of the US itslef. What further statement does Obama refer to? What have the previous statements condemning settlement activity done to stop such activity. Have those previous statements been successful in bringing Israel to the table? The US will simply have to loose face on this matter. Statements and slaps on the wrist of a regime that is moving full steam ahead in their violations of international law are grossly inadequate. It needs full Security Council followed by General Assembly condemnation. Obama will have to deal with the power of the zionist lobby or the wrath of the rest of the world that still has a conscience.
