what would they do the net day? if they are so upset today with a moderate sunni leader like hariri and decide to change things by force they would end up having to deal with alqa-eda and suicide bombers come 2012 or even earlier (iraq is a good example), not to mention the potential israeli-western-blessed-embargo on the lebanese airports and sea ports. Are they really willing to deal with all that? is Syria really looking for a new isolation after recently breaking one, i am not sure on that one... I dont think Syria can afford a sectarian strife in lebanon, not this time.. this is a sunni-shee3i one unlike the 70's and sooner or later it could even potentially spill over to Syria where the majority is sunni and you can imagine extremists crossing the border to lebanon amidst the confusion.
