    Israel is quite the accomplished aggressor and killer. Meanwhile Palestinians made awful blunders before Oslo. Asymmetric conflict excuses a little, but certainly not all. IMO, neither side's violence occurs in a vacuum. I have perhaps a slightly greater respect for violence driven by anger or vengeance, than violence to open political opportunities. Either way, both sides should admit that continued conflict is bad and help will be found by looking to the future, not the past.
