Anyone who lives some time in the "West Bank" knows very well that by far most Arabs living there do not see Israeli troops on a daily basis at all, that by far most Arab villages there are left completely alone by the IDF and that there are no starving Arabs there at all. In fact, many are overweight and the standard of living there is higher than that of any third world country by far. The wealth and peace of the Arabian population there is something which surprises visitors all the time, as they have been fed the decades-long myth of a "brutal occupation" spread by most reporters, including the author of this article. Some time in the real third world or in a truly occupied war zone would clear the view of even those who hate Israel traditionally and viciously.
