Nobody is displacing anyone by moving somewhere. Are you displacing an American when you move to America? Are you suggesting that noone should emigrate anywhere? In addition, the law of return is very important. Changing it is very very very stupid and personally, I think it would mean the end of Israel. We, the Jews of the diaspora, support Israel's right to exist wholeheartedly and passionately. The result of that is American aid, favorable trade and visa relations, and arguably, the very existence of Israel. This relationship goes both ways. It doesn't surprise me, though, that some Israeli doesn't see it like that. A lot of Israelis mistakently think that the diaspora is not doing anything for them, because of their big army and all...they are deeply mistaken and see the world through a hole...
