The reason Israel in singled out for human rights violations in the Un when africans go chop one million of their own into pieces, no one cares (yes I watched hotel Rawanda), or the sudan or as one of the other posters had mentioned, the severe human rights violations of the egyptians toward the gazan (i refuse to give the arabs there the honor of the name palestinian- palestinian means jew, which they certainly are not), but back on topic the reason Israel is singled out is that Israel is a civilized country, with normal people not a bunch of monsters held oren from the middle ages but a nation of enlightened peaceloving intellectuals- i know many of you will disagree, but the israelis are the most peaceful people on earth, if say the dutch were in israel's pardicament today, the west bank gaza strip, syria, egypt, lebanon, and jordan would be a radioactive wasteland, although there are settler factions who would melt the arabs given the chance, the religious and secular prevent this from happening. Yes what i said is true -the religious prevent it. Although the only religious jews who get media attention are those living in settlements, many religious jews are on the verge of civil war for the image protrayed by setters masqerading as religious jews, they have no jews ideals or teachings only hatred toward jews and non jews. I think it is a disgrace that they are allowed to masqerade about like they represent religious jews, but the truth is, is that the rabbis and the their students live a sheltered life and simply dont care what the world thinks, and not only not want to have anything to do with the arabs but dont even join the military because religious judaism teaches study and self reflection, but Conqueroring and fighting is an absolute evil, regardless of what khalid and JOHANES Franzen say. what the rabbis want is to study the talmud in piece, occupation is a secular ideal gone bad so they created yesha to blame it on the religious
