I fail to see how this traitor in a democracy is a hero to some. Comparing him to Ossietzky, Pasternak or Xiaobo, demeans them. It detracts from their accomplishments. The others were exposing inhumanity of dictatorial regimes. They were exposing regimes which did not allow freedom to their citizens. Vanunu is a pure traitor to a democracy. He is supported mainly by forces that want to delegitimize that democracy. Yes, like every democracy, there are issues and concerns. His actions are unethical and immoral in any society.
