In a war taking place in a muslim country in proportion to allied troops there who operate UAVS the bulk of them use Israeli. Some use American and others use either something they have designed themselves or bought from a small manufacturer but the bulk are Israeli, So Israel is playing its own minor role in Afghanistan. ... and getting paid for it of course because somebody else does the actual fighting and pays Israel for the drones. Israel was getting serious about UAVS in the 80s & 90s when the Americans thought they were just an expensive toy and unmanned aircraft would never have a role to play in modern day warfare now the school of thought is the US wants around a quarter of the military to eventually be made up of unmanned vehicles.
