Is I take the HE definition "Ideology is a consolidated and systematic combination of ideas, understandings, principles and commandments expressing the unique worldview of a sect, party or social class" and add or replace with "group" then I can, should and must say: Sorry, A.B. Yehoshua, I very much appreciate your works, your opinion and your present, useful and honorable attermpt to deflate the public discourse on Zionism, Anti-Zionism, anti-Semitism. But according to the very same definition of "ideology" both you, A.B.Y, and the Hebrew Encyclopedia use Zionism - as created by Herzl, accepted by the Zionist Congress more than a century ago, and then by millions of Jews turned first Zionists, then Israelis - is a pure ethnc-national ideology ... However, you're totally right in distinguishing geographically and ideologically between Zionists (Jews living in Israel and the ones in the Diaspora preparing for aliya), coffeehouse pro-Zionists and Zionism neutral or critical Diaspora Jews. Which also shows the clear differences between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism. Thank you.
