The wording is always tricky, because it has to take into account so many factors: The Hawks in both Camps (the 'Pride'-Factor), the national Electorate of the Politicains and their stance on the Issue until now(...without making them look too foolish..especially in the Media/ 'Foolish'-Factor), the international Factor('Image'-Factor) and the Message it might send out to 'opponents'(the 'Enemy'-Factor). One could go on for some time on this List....It is, however, important to both parties to resolve this deadlock once & for all! So: Rhetoric it out! That's what you get paid for!
