If it is true, as Hillary says, that the disclosure "puts people's lives in danger", meaning probably US personnel and sources, such a belief provides moral authority to kill in order to stop the publication. Assange, the WikiLeaks director, should have been made an offer he could not refuse. Perhaps US expressed fears are exaggerated, or their treatment indicates incompetence. Not clear, but something doesn't seem right.
