It is very important to have the entire story straight before commenting on it in the form of an article and at the same time expose serious Jews, just doing what they do best in a very negative light. As far as ignoring the ordinance of the Rabbis, I am sure if you approached the organizers and entertainers and asked them their thoughts about the rabbis who issued this prohibition the would speak with utmost reverence and respect. However, the way the prohibition came about and the ones who instigated the entire debacle by fabricating untruths about the details of the concert, lends itself to the type of response that it received - people not paying attention.I am led to believe that the Rabbis knew nothing about this concert until the night before when they decided to issue the ban! I bet you, if someone would have approached the organizer of the event a month or two before the scheduled performance they would have worked something out or agreed to call it off.
