....that this conflict will NEVER be solved without ruthless pressure on both parties. The moderate Arab camp (Abbas, Arab League) has shown its willingness to more or less meet the conditions for a resumption of peace negotiations (renouncing violence, accepting of a 2-state solution with East Jerusalem as future Palestinian capital). The Israeli side unfortunately is not yet that far, therefore it's only logical, that most of the pressure is applied to her today. Once Israel swallows the Jerusalem toad, and fully accepts the idea of a viable Palestinian state, the pressure will shift again to the Arabs (right of return). But in order to get rid of the current (and tremendous) International pressure, Israel has to become reasonable first and give in on the matters I mentioned above, otherwise she risks to become "suffocated"....
