If Turkey admits sabotage in their waters, it will require of them to take some diplomatic action against Israel, the obvious prime suspect. But at the present time, Turkey prefers to quiet things down with Israel, an example of which is their discouraging the Mavi marmara to participate in the flotilla. Perhaps, as was reported, this is the result of some agreement with Israel about the language of the UN Report of the First Flotilla. Incidentally, in principle, such sabotage by states is not unheard of (France vs. Greenpeace), but so many ships sabotaged is overdoing this which is clearly illegal. On the other hand, Israel has lost any reputation as a law-abiding country, so who cares...
