Brant brings up a good point that Chirac should have considered before he concocted this reason for not sharing what he knows about Arafat's death. None of the possible explanations of Arafat's death should be antithetical to Palestinian "national" interests. If he had AIDS the Palestinians would certainly want to know. If he was poisoned, by whomever, they would also want to know. It is an insult to them to imply that they would engage in further bloodshed if they knew the cause of his death.
