• The US has the highest levels of semi-illiteracy in the developed world; the US has the worst media in the developed world and possibly the world; the US has the most dishonest, biased, ignorant, ill-informed and propagandised media in the developed world; Americans are the least travelled citizens in the developed world with 80 percent not possessing passports; the Americans are the most insular citizens in the developed world believing, for all the above reasons, that they know it all and have it all.... so the fact that Americans believe this ridiculous, fear-mongering and dishonest fantasy is hardly surprising. And sadly, the American media and communications industries are overwhelmingly in the hands of pro-Israel (as in Zionist Israel right or wrong) individuals and groups so of course Americans believe this lie. The really good news is it doesn't matter. The US era is over and US power is waning as we speak. The rest of the world, in the main, does not believe this lie and has a far better grasp of the truth. So, no matter what ridiculous things Americans believe they don't actually have the power, if they ever did, to do much damage. Even the Palestinians have realised that they don't need the US. Times have changed and we can look forward to an era where the hegemony of one nation is no longer any functional reality.
