These weapons will soon be in the hands of Hizbollah once they overthrow the government over the Hariri trial. The T72 is an old tank and no match for Hizbollahs Kornet anti tank rockets neither are the retired Patton & Leopard 1 tanks donated by the US & Germany. Helicopters and slow & fly low and vulnerable to anti aircraft missiles. The Lebanese army doesn't have the firepower or training to take on a Hizbollah armed with the latest Iranian & Russian weapons. If it comes to a showdown for the country between Hizbollah & the military Hizbollah will win and all those new toys will either be destroyed in the battle or taken by Hizbollah later once they control the country. Whilst these tanks & helicopters are not a direct threat to Israel they would be extra weapons for Hizbollah in a war.
