President Obama and his secretary of State Hillary Clinton seem to be behind the curve. Senator John Kerry already threatened the Libyan generals that they can be tried for crimes against humanity should they continue their relentless attacks against the peaceful demonstrators. What we hear from Hillary and Barack is a lot of empty talk, they should convene the UN into a special session and impose immediate and biting sanctions against Libya. They need t also start the procedure for charging Qadhafi and his generals with crimes against humanity. Human right organizations and descendants have already accumulated enough data of previous human rights abuses that are enough to bring him to trial. His draconian regime is over. There is not a single country on the face of this planet that will accept him. Before he goes down, he is going to shed a lot of blood. The world community need to stop it. President Clinton reflected at his time in office and said his biggest regret that the U.S. watched the atrocities in Rowanda and the Congo and did nothing to stop it. If we do not stop this insane person now, he is liable to commit the unthinkable. The world can stop it with surgical strikes from NATO forces against his power base. They succeeded in removing Yugoslavia's Milosovich. If we stand on the sideline, our apologies will do little to assuage their suffering, their anger and their radicalization.
