It is something that has been going on for many, many years, and has matured to completion now, even without the coup. Hezballah already dictates Lebanon's politics, its relationship to Israel, and the threat to indict Hezballah members who murdered former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, is the exception in Lebanon, not the rule. The rule is to be Iran's obedient protectorate and to do what Nasrallah tells them to. This situation is irreversible unless there is regime change in Iran. Currently, that is very far from likely.
