"The Arab League denied on Saturday that it was unable to transfer aid to Palestinians". - Haaretz The paltry sum of $4.3 million needed for health purposes will put the Arab League to shame. The sum is needed, but Arab banks are fearful of US retaliation if they transfer money to the PA. Arab masses however are utterly enraged by the health situation and the failure of Arab states to help. There will be no chance for this financial blockade to hold against popular outrage. One way or the other, the League will find a way to deliver the money. The Europeans are already suggesting that Arab countries channel money thru a European fund. Perhaps Arabs will create some joint Arab bank to do it, but it will happen. After that, the deluge. Money will flow from many sympathizing countries. The Hamas government is not going to be choked to death. Sorry Olmert and the other dreamers. You have to deal with reality; no wishful thinking.
